The Lucien Ellington Fund for Education About Asia (EAA) supports open access publication of our biannual peer-reviewed online teaching journal.

Lucien Ellington was the founding editor of Education About Asia and sole editor of the journal for twenty-eight years (1996 to 2023). Lucien’s clear vision and wide-ranging knowledge of the educational landscape have ensured that Education About Asia remains a renowned and well-respected journal in the field of teaching about Asia.

Your donation will allow Education About Asia to remain fully open access, providing essential resources, including feature articles, teaching resource essays, lesson plans, interviews, and book and film reviews—for teachers, students, and anyone with an interest in Asia worldwide.

If you would like to make a multi-year pledge to support EAA, please do so through our secure pledge form and the Association for Asian Studies will email you an invoice. If you would prefer to make a one-time gift, you can do so via our secure donation form. A receipt for tax purposese will be sent to you.
